Palm Springs
In honor of being back in Palm Springs, CA this week here is a picture from the Bob Hope Tournament.
Check out more pictures (thanks to Mr. Edwards) in the New Pictures section.
This week we are taking a week off. Scott couldn't get into the field this week. Next week we will be outside of Cancun, Mexico. Please to do send us emails about safety... we will be safe. We will be on a resort with armed guards. No need to worry.
After Mexico, we will either be going to West Palm Beach, Florida or Bogata, Columbia. It will be a last minute decision.
Therefore... for the next few weeks we will be in Mexico, Florida/Columbia, Puerto Rico, Tampa, and possible Louisiana.
Stay Tuned.

I'd like to give a shout out to Toby Mac. He is absolutely absolutely awesome. I was very impressed with him (For those of you who dont know, Toby Mac is a singer/entertainer). Anyway, ran across the fairway when he heard that their were some kids who wanted to meet him (probably didn't hurt he was told that a players wife was over there too). He not only signed some things but he also posed for a picture and gave out some fun bracelets to the kids!
So... I will always be a fan of huge fan of Toby Mac. Feel free to check him out HERE to check out some of his music.
Today, Scott stayed on the range for an extra 2.5 hours (after his 5 hour round). When he left he said he felt very encouraged. In fact, he said it's the more encouraged he's felt in a long time.
There is no question that he is working his tail off... We'll get things straightened up. Stick with us and have some faith!
Tomorrow he tees off at 8:44 on the Monterey course.
As a side note.... If you have any questions about God's existence you haven't been to Pebble Beach.

Love @ 1st sight!
I cannot tell you what an amazing place this is. Pebble Beach is the prettiest place in America that I've ever been.
This week the weather is perfect and thankfully I should need the cold gear I've been carrying around since early January.
We have an awesome house and are staying with a great group of friends. We are happy to see some faces that we haven't seen in awhile. So excited for
the fun, busy week ahead!!

How to stop the hiccups...
Scott has been struggling with the hiccups all day. I mean he couldn't stop.... I even thought about making him sleep in the car. It was HORRIBLE! So, what did we do? We found this solution... we thought we'd share! :)
The 30-Second Hiccup Cure
For overall best results, please try to do the steps as quickly as you can and try very hard not to let any air out.
Step 1: Start by inhaling through your mouth until your lungs feel full (when it feels like you cannot inhale any more.... your lungs will basically stop taking in air).
Step 2: Swallow. You are not really swallowing anything but it seems that without this act, it doesn’t work. Do not let any air out.
Step 3: Now inhale some more until your lungs feel full again. You may not be able to inhale a lot, but do get some more air in. It will start to get difficult to do this as you go, but keep trying. You obviously can’t suck in as much air as you did initially, but just a little will do (think of it as taking a “sip” of air but directly into your lungs).
Step 4: Swallow again. This too will start to get difficult as you go. Do not let any air out.
Step 5: Repeat steps 3 and 4 (inhale and swallow) until you cannot swallow again. While it seems you can almost always suck in just a little more air, it is actually the swallowing that gets to be impossible. When you feel like you cannot swallow again, swallow again anyway. It will be hard to do, your face will probably turn red, and you may make squeaking sounds. But you CAN swallow one last time. By this time, your lungs should also be quite full and it should be difficult to get much more air in as well. While you should try not to let any air out, if you have really repeated steps 3 and 4 as many times as you can, you probably will end up letting a little air out before you can take that last swallow. If you find that air keeps escaping out of your nose even early in the process, try squeezing it shut with your fingers.
Step 6: Exhale.
