sadness!! i've been trying to get a post to upload from my phone for TWO DAYS from our palm springs fun... it was a fun post too... I'll keep working on it.

We made it to Phoenix last night and SS is feeling good. Excited for a great week. This week we are staying for Angie and Bubba Watson so I am sure we have some crazy times ahead.

Due to an unexpected break the last few weeks... Scott WILL be playing Pebble Beach.

news

Over the past few days Scott has spent multiple hours in therapy. He had an MRI on Tuesday and the doctor advised him to take a few more days off. The MRI showed nothing torn or broken (which we are VERY thankful for).

Tomorrow, we will head to Palm Springs where Scott will attempt to play again. He will make his return at the Madison Club for a ProAm to support the Cranes. Scott has been itching to play for several days now. He is pretty excited to get down there and make his first full swing since Thursday of the Bob Hope.

We've had a lot of fun this last week in San Diego but are both ready for Scott to get back to work! ;)

Due to his injury there may be some schedule changes to come. Stay tuned.

Injury report

Scott had therapy this morning and is currently practicing.

We are trying to get him in for some tests tomorrow afternoon to eliminate some doubt he is having.

As of now this are looking up.

Injury Update

Here's the most recent update on Scott's injury....

Currently, Scott is going through his fifth physical therapy treatment in 36 hours. He was diagnosed with an intercostal rib injury. He woke up still tender this morning but that is more from therapy than the injury itself. The cause to the injury is ultimately unknown but the most logical cause was due to a stretching session on Thursday morning (stretching is a usual part of Scott's week).

Ultimately, we do not know how long Scott will be out. If the issue hasn't subsided Scott will have an MRI on Monday in San Diego. Hopefully this will not be necessary and he will begin his next tournament next week at Torrey Pines.

We appreciate all of the prayers and support through this. This WD has been Scott's first in 5 years. Ultimately, we've been very blessed that this has been his only injury to date. We firmly believe that Scott will begin competing again soon.

Make a Wish

Today Scott played in the ProAm. Not too exciting except afterwards Scott met a young man in the make a wish program that was here with the PGAtour. If that doesn't put life into perspective I'm not sure what will.
