Black Creek CC

This week we are at my favorite course Black Creek in Chattanooga, TN. It's my favorite because the weather is usually perfect fall like weather (this year I think it may be alittle hot), the course is beautiful, wonderful housing on 18 (this will be our third year staying there) and Scott has had some pretty good success there. I'm excited!

I'm spending my last night in my bed but heading down early tomorrow. His tee times are 1:30 Thursday and 8:30 Friday.

We hope to see some people down there!

It's kinda hard to see but this is what was waiting for us last night. Scott was home maybe 12 hours and is already in Chattanooga. I'll head down tomorrow.

We made it to Atlanta and we are both super fidgety to get home!

I cannot wait to to see our little place!! And our mail since Aug 26! Ha

Teeing off today at 8:36.

After his round we are headed back to San Diego. We fly out tomorrow at 9:00am. Both of us are looking forward to our few hours at home before heading to Chattanooga early Tuesday.

On Tuesday Scott is playing media golf. He'll play nine holes with someone from the paper and tv. He'll have a microphone on him and do whatever else they need him too. It will be a much more in-depth look than what the media is able to do during the actual tournament.

Scott will not be able to stay home as long as he'd hoped on Tuesday but what can you do?!?

Hoping for a good round today! It will make the forever travel hope much better! :)

Round 3 tee times should begin approximately at noon tomorrow.

We won't know anything until round 2 is complete.

Thankfully we were blessed with the 'good' round of tee times this week.

We made it by the skin of our teeth! Right as Scott's group was putting out in 18 the officials blew the horn for weather. Phew!

Speaking o Scott's round... Well, i saw the craziest thing on 18. He hit his second shot at the green, hit rocks (in the water), bounced up and out to 15 feet from the hole. He missed his eagle put by millimeters but made a great birdie! Scott finished at -4.

By the way... It smells funny when it rains here.
