new year, new mindset

I’ve been thinking about this post for a while now.  I have written several different drafts but in the end I am starting new, again.

We have been in a whirlwind ever since Qschool finished.  We have had to learn some hard, hard lessons but they are lessons that we will need for the future.  Even though they have been hard to handle both individually and as a couple, overall we are thankful for them.  It has brought Scott and me closer and stronger.  We have learned first hand how quickly our joy can be stolen.  God has blessed us beyond belief but through that blessing we have seen the enemy attack us and try to steal that joy from this new adventure.  Unfortunately, most of this time off we have aloud him to do so.  That stops today.
All of you know that the golf community has been rocked by stuff going on with Tiger Woods.  It’s a very sad situation.  Unfortunately, that is not an uncommon thing in professional golfers’ lives (not all of course but a surprising amount).  As sad as that is, it’s true.  The golf world needs the light to shine through the darkness.  We pray that we can help that light shine.
I wish we could say that we are all ready for to leave and that all of the business stuff taken care of but at least it is getting closer.  We are praying that in the next couple of days that things will fall into place so that Scott can focus solely on practicing.  We know that God will provide what is necessary for us in the next season and we pray that we will ultimately make decisions that glorify Him. We are so excited to begin this new journey and look forward to all that is to come.
